Eco-Friendly and Sustainable Labels from Bluepoint
2026 sees the launch of our range of Eco-Friendly labels on the Bluepoint online store.
As part of our continuing sustainability drive, we’ve launched a new line of sustainably-sourced, eco-friendly labels that are ideal for a range of uses across different industries, including horticulture, industrial laundry, fresh produce and more!
We’re constantly developing new materials to give our customers more sustainable choices for their labels, and we can now offer several eco-friendly label options, including:
- Paper-based ‘EcoTech15’ self-tie loop lock labels
- Post-consumer ‘PolyTac EcoPCR’ recycled self-adhesive labels
- ‘Eco Versa Wraps’ for a wide variety of identification purposes
Not only does in mean that these materials are sustainably sourced, but it reduces reliance on single-use plastics, helping you play an important part in the circular economy and reducing your carbon footprint at the same time.
EcoTech15 Self-Tie Loop Lock Labels
Avoiding single-use plastics, our EcoTech15 self-tie loop lock labels are ideal for predominantly indoor use, where the ultimate durability of synthetic materials isn’t a priority. Designed for thermal transfer printing, these labels offer an eco-conscious alternative for product or batch identification.
Being a paper-based material from FSC-certified sources, these self-tie loop lock labels can be kerbside recycled along with regular paper waste, so can easily be returned to the circular economy. What’s more, the material is also industrially compostable and biodegradable where facilities allow (not home compostable), giving yet another option for these labels to become circular.
PolyTac EcoPCR Recycled Self-Adhesive Labels
Made from 100% recycled household waste, these satin-finished synthetic self-adhesive labels offer a more sustainable alternative to labels made from virgin materials, without any compromise in performance. In fact, they use the same high-grade adhesives as our standard labels, so you’ll never come unstuck!
Manufactured here in the UK from our durable, waterproof PolyTac EcoPCR material, these versatile labels are designed to withstand the demanding environments of both horticulture and industry, whilst at the same time helping to reduce reliance on single-use plastics.
Supplied on rolls and suitable for thermal transfer printers from manufacturers such as Godex, TSC, Zebra and Toshiba, these labels can also be written on by hand, providing a practical, eco-conscious solution for a wide range of labelling applications.
Eco Versa Wraps
Perhaps one of our most versatile labels, Bluepoint’s Eco Versa Wraps offer an elegantly simple to label a wide variety of products. Food contact approved, they make fabulous wraps for fresh seasonal produce like asparagus, but are equally at home in a workshop setting. A powerful self-adhesive backing strip enables easy label attachment.
Eco Versa Wraps are made from FSC-approved card stock and can be fully recycled along with household cardboard waste. Supplied in single sheet form, Eco Versa Wraps can be laser or inkjet printed and can be written on by hand.
