Alicia Linscott, 20, a former pupil at Teign School and an active member of the Exeter Eagles BMX Club, will travel to Brisbane, Australia later this month to compete at the BMX World Championships. Bluepoint has provided financial support to help cover the costs of travel and accommodation, allowing Alicia to focus on representing Great Britain at one of the sport's biggest international events.

Alongside competing at a high level, Alicia is passionate about encouraging the next generation of riders. She regularly coaches young racers at Exeter Eagles BMX Club, sharing her experience and inspiring children to develop both their confidence and their racing skills.
Bluepoint, which manufactures specialist tags and labels for the horticultural and industrial sectors, believes supporting local people and community initiatives is an important part of its values.
"We're delighted to be able to support Alicia on her journey to the BMX World Championships," said Robert Burton, co-founder of Bluepoint. "Competing at this level requires an incredible amount of dedication, hard work and personal commitment. Alicia is not only an outstanding athlete but also gives back to the sport by coaching young riders in our local community. We're proud to play a small part in helping her get to Brisbane and wish her every success."

Speaking ahead of the championships, Alicia said:
"Travelling to compete internationally is a huge opportunity, but it also comes with significant costs. I'm incredibly grateful to Rob and Iain at Bluepoint for helping make this trip possible, and their contribution will help with my travel costs and entry fees. It means I can concentrate on giving my best performance while proudly representing my club, my community and Great Britain."
The BMX World Championships will take place in Brisbane, Australia during July, bringing together many of the world's top riders to compete for international honours.
