Sustainaband is a true alternative to synthetic wristbands. Event wristbands tend to be manufactured from spun-bonded HDPE, and as they're not readily recycled in household waste streams, tend to be discarded in general waste.

Sustainaband is made from a paper-based stock, with the paper fibres being truly sustainable and coming from an FSC-certified source. They are able to be recycled along with household paper waste (EN 643), so can be returned to the circular economy, protecting vital resources and ensuring they avoid going to landfill.

Sustainaband features an engineered, PVC film core. Measured at just a few microns, the percentage by weight is small enough to not affect the EN 643 classification for paper and board. This film is recaptured in the recycling process and can be used for thermal energy recapture.
