A natural setting featuring a mountain range
SustainabandTM is a true alternative to synthetic wristbands. Event wristbands tend to be manufactured from spun-bonded HDPE, and as they're not readily recycled in household waste streams, tend to be discarded in general waste.

SustainabandTM is made from a paper-based stock, with the paper fibres being truly sustainable and coming from an FSC-certified source. They are able to be recycled along with household paper waste (EN 643), so can be returned to the circular economy, protecting vital resources and ensuring they avoid going to landfill.

SustainabandTM features an engineered, PVC film core. Measured at just a few microns, the percentage by weight is small enough to not affect the EN 643 classification for paper and board. This film is recaptured in the recycling process and can be used for thermal energy recapture.

SustainabandTM uses a unique, repurposed glassine release liner for the adhesive strip. Because we have chosen not to use a virgin siliconised product, we are able to achieve considerable carbon savings during manufacture.

Combine this with the fact that we generate in excess of 40% of our own electricity, we believe that Sustainaband is one of the most eco-friendly event and security wristbands available today.
